The people we work with, and why it matters

GCDAY doesn't work alone. The disability and youth space is too wide for any single provider to cover well, so we partner with organisations that fill the gaps around what we do directly. Some of them are part of the wider DAY Group with us. Some of them are independent specialists we trust enough to refer to.

Use this page to find the right next door. Each card below tells you who they are, what they actually do, and how to reach them. If you're not sure which one fits, contact us and we'll point you in the right direction.

If you're trying to work out who to talk to first, send us a message.

Where this leads

Our partners

Disability and Youth Support (DAYS)

Our sister organisation for School Leavers Employment Support and individualised young-adult assistance.

DAYS works with young adults across the Gold Coast and South Brisbane, focused on building the employment knowledge, community access, and personal skills participants need after high school. Their SLES program is the one we point people to when the work conversation starts to matter. DAYS supports both Self and Plan Managed NDIS participants, and the team brings the same lived-experience approach GCDAY runs on.

DAYC (DAY Advocacy)

Advocacy across NDIS access, reviews, AAT, and Centrelink.

DAYC specialises in disability advocacy. That covers NDIS access decisions, plan reviews, AAT appeals, and Centrelink support. They also sponsor academic scholarships, run NDIS and self-advocacy education, and back micro-business ventures for people with disabilities and at-risk youth. If you're stuck on the system side of things, this is the door to knock on.

DAYGM Business Consulting

Business advisory for organisations who want to actually improve, not just write a plan.

DAYGM Business Consulting works with organisations on performance, problem-solving, and growth strategy. The team brings specialised knowledge and analytical work across multiple business domains, and the engagements are built to land changes the organisation can actually run with. For businesses in the disability and youth space, the consultants' familiarity with the sector is a meaningful advantage.

Choice Allied Health

Speech and language therapy with a social worker, in a clinic that's still growing.

Choice Allied Health is a newer clinic specialising in speech and language therapy, backed by a social worker for additional support and a speech therapy assistant who extends what the lead clinicians can deliver. The team has further allied-health offerings in the pipeline, so the scope of what they can support is widening. Good first call for participants who need speech, language, or social-work-aligned therapy.
